To serve God is to serve others and is the greatest form of charity: the pure love of Christ.

Jesus Christ said in John 13:34 and 35: “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

We’re grateful for all of you and your dedication to serving Christ and His church body through your greeting and ushering along with your friendly smiling outreach.

Greeter Guidelines: Be at your positions 15 minutes before service starts and remain until approximately 15 minutes after the service starts. One person may be assigned to greet late arrivals. Make sure there are plenty of hand-outs available. Be informed so you can answer any questions from the visitors. Open doors for people and pass out the programs and visitor forms. Have the visitors fill out the form and give them back to you or put them in the offering bag.

Usher Guidelines:

Each service: Take your position after the congregation greets each other.

Positions 2, 4, 5 and 7 make sure you have an offering bag.

Positions 4 and 5 will wait until everyone is at their position and ready to go.

Everyone begins walking forward when positions 4 and 5 begin.

Our goal is to go together.
